I personally believe you should aim to be the best you can be, including a career that fulfils your potential and feeds your passion. I aspire to be part of this process, contributing to a graphic design or teaching team, preferably both! As a creative problem solver, with a keen eye for detail and highly motivated work ethic, I could be the perfect asset and an advantageous team player in the right hands.
After being made redundant – as a graphic designer for over 20 years – I made a proactive decision to develop myself; endeavouring to further my education and skills base. I successfully completed teaching qualifications [formerly DTLLS, equivalent to the new Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training (DET)], which included a revelatory two years of work placement, teaching young adults Graphic Design at Doncaster College. Subsequently, I felt I could do more to achieve my potential, which led me to enrol at High Melton on the English BA (Hons) degree course.
By taking my education to a higher level, I have developed greater confidence in my cognitive abilities and expanded my knowledge base. I am hopeful that my enthusiasm and aspiration to succeed, will enable me to successfully diversify and further my career, allowing for the possibility of satisfying future opportunities.
Please feel free to click through to my profile for links to various web pages I have created, which showcase the work I completed during my time at University Centre Doncaster.
